Class 7 MOT's can now be performed by a local garage at a convenient location for Easingwold and surrounding villages. We are able to MOT all motorhomes and horseboxes up to 3.5 tonnes.
Peter is running the premises with the help of Janice Lambert on reception, accounts and administration.

NB: always ensure you carry a tool kit:
- Check the handbook for the location of the basic toolkit for the car that should contain at least a jack and wheel removal tools.
- Familiarise yourself with the jacking points used to lift the car safely.
- If locking wheel nuts are fitted make sure that the toolkit includes the key or removal tool.

Regular servicing is essential for maximum efficiency and performance of the vehicle and to prevent future repairs and breakdowns.
We recognise that a minor service is preferential to no service where the maintenance and safety of the vehicle is concerned.
Should the manufacturer recommendation’s prove to be too expensive speak to us and we will tailor the service accordingly.

Servicing
We recommend you have your vehicle serviced every 12 months - more often if it covers a high annual mileage. Regular servicing reduces the risk of breakdown, reduces fuel consumption, and helps retain the value of your vehicle.
Remember, you are NOT obliged to use a main dealer garage to retain your manufacturer warranty.
Tyres and wheel balancing
We offer a skilled tyre replacement and puncture repair service.
Check tyres carefully for tread and general condition. The legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm, but we recommend replacing them before the tread gets down to 2mm. Look for faults such as cuts, splits or bulges too and have any damaged or worn tyres replaced. Don't forget the spare.
If you switched to winter tyres in the autumn then you need to switch back to your 'summer' tyres. This will save your winter tyres for next year. Call us to change your tyres over.
